Don't call me a tree hugger
But don't call me a cannibal
I'm so not a study freak
But I'm not a party animal

Why is it when I go out
People look and stare
Some may look away, some eyes bulge
But hey, I'm not walking around in my under wear

Don't call me a weirdo
Or a silly air head
I'm not a tanned barbie doll
Or someone who wants to be dead

I'm human if you cant tell
So don't stereotype and judge on what you see
Stereotyping wont do you any good
And the only person I am is me!

Dina the servant girl

Depending on where you are in the world
Should your life be easy going or unfair?
Because those who live the high life
For the less fortunate do they truly care?

While abroad I met a girl
Who worked at a servant at my home
She was only aged thirteen
Yet never did she fuss or moan

She was one of four children
With one boy & two other girls
Father a grocer, mother a servant
Yet they have no voice to tell their story to the world

The day before I left I gave her a hug
Promising her to tell her story
Though I may never see her again
She'll always be sister to me...

Death's passing by

My hand feels so heavy
And my eyes begin to close
I cant move my body
From my head to my toes
And then I wonder is this it
Am I really going to die?
Leave this world in my sleep
And not even say goodbye?

Time stops at a standstill, yet I see things to be
And I ask myself 'What if? '
A light appears in front of me
And I no longer feel stiff

I see the world below of me
And I break down and cry.....
Waking up in fright, I clutch my chest
And tears roll for the fact I didn't die
Yet I know death would eventually capture me
And take me away from her
But until that time comes and my life ends
I'll remain living with those I hold

Darkest IllusionIllusion's are darkness; completely lightless
And those of whom can only see the night
And refuse to resist its sweet transgress
Wanting not favour but instead despite
And as time continues to progress
Darkness eventually envelops the light
And light becomes darkness; repossess...

Damask RoseThe rose of a new beginning
Look at the new reality spinning
The start of brand new life for them
This new start is a new born gem

Listen to the mark of the new
The grass glistening with dew
Outside the chapel of the pure
The pair of youth now mature

Up the hill the young dove sings
Kindly stroking his partner's wings
And with a smile to the sunset glow
They leave the past and to the future they go...
